How do I change the settings on my AED UltraTrainer?

To change settings, press the menu button on the front of the trainer. This is the button with three lines on the far left. The menu button indicates the current setting. Press the arrow select button to switch between the options for whichever setting you are on. Once you have selected what you want, you can move to the next setting by pressing the menu button again. To save setting changes, press the power button.

The new pads look different from the pads I already have on my trainer. Why has this changed?

The AED UltraTrainer pad picture was updated to feature a woman and a child model, while the trainer features a male and a child model. This was done to ensure representation of all body types and help reduce stigma around performing CPR on women.

How do I change the pads on my AED UltraTrainer?

To change the pads, pop out the black connector pin using the tip of a ballpoint pen. Slide the old pad out from the cable connectors and wiggle the new one into place. If the pad bubbles up, pinch the tab you are inserting down flat as you push it in place. Once inserted, push the black connector pin back into the cable connector to lock the pads in place.

How do you change the language on the AED UltraTrainer?

There is a small button on the back of the trainer that toggles between the two languages installed. This is typically English & Spanish, but dongles with other languages are available for purchase upon request.
