MCR Co-founder Karen Morrison was a very special person. An intelligent and astute businesswoman, she used her abilities to build a thriving e-commerce business and to build-up those she encountered through business and personal connections. Funny and vibrant, she would light up a room simply by entering, and her caring heart and genuine love for people offered hope, empowerment and encouragement to many.

In 2016, Karen was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, and fought hard through chemotherapy and other experimental treatments. Karen never gave in to her cancer, and she never let it interfere with spreading her unique love and encouragement to her family, friends and co-workers. Sadly, she lost her battle in May 2018, but her legacy continues to impact every person whose life she touched.

One of Karen’s favorite things was wildflowers, and they have become a symbol to us of her beauty, her courage, her forward-thinking and her joy. We are proud to offer these memorial wildflower seed packets as a way to remember Karen and share her story and to spread her legacy.
